The Saints of Pain Metal Band sports Obscuria Industrial Gear

Posted July 5th 2008

Checkout our friends the Saints of Pain, who proudly sport Obscuria gear onstage, and have a knack for modifying their goggles and masks in a way that leave their fans drooling for more!

The Saints of Pain is a Dirt Metal, High Energy, Shot of 100 proof Tequila from the communion challis!
A 50% Salvation, 50% Damnation: mix of singer song writer croon and bone jarring metal drenched in raw unrefined emotions. The four men that are the Saints of Pain draw inspiration from as varied a background to be found in music today.
Lazarus/ Vocals:
The laid back west coast style of "the Dead Man" should not fool you. With a voice that screams and croons lyrics to their fullest, you are up for a roller coaster ride when ever he takes the mic. With influences such as TOOL, Godsmack, Killswitch Engage, Hurt, and even Garth Brooks, He is the anvil that tempers the rest of the Saints metal.
Syxx/ Guitars:
Hailing from the deep south the fire breathing shred head of the band draws inspiration from the thrash classics, like Suicidal Tendencies, Slayer, and Anthrax. Never afraid to slow it down or lay some soul into a solo, he creates the diverse sound of the Saints nicely.
Priest/ Bass:
The seminary named bass playing steam punk of the band, Priest is a mixture of grind and grace. Industrially influenced, and divinely inspired it is no wonder that bands like Goth Minister, and In Flames find equal placement with 16 Horsepower, and Woven Hand in this crusaders ipod.
Uriel/ Drums:
One wing in heaven and the other in hell. This description is simple but fitting of the 1/2 man, 1/2 angel behind the percussion of this heavy hitting band. Influenced by Fear Factory, My Dying Bride, and KillWhitneyDead, it is no wonder that his "Hit them till they bleed" style fines an easy home here in the Saints of Pain.

With their trademark high energy shows, and riff oriented groove metal songs, and "with out you the fan we are nothing" attitude it is no wonder that The Saints of Pain have been embraced by the NYC metal, Goth, and rock scene.
