After Lady Synthestruct polishes off her pint of nightly brandy from the steam powered liquor atomizer, she passes through the richly colored sitting room and makes way toward the hangar, where a patchwork hot air balloon awaits for mysterious Victorian adventure. Of course she is wearing a brass riveted rust colored leather Steampunk mask, with black leather accents. Two brass and mesh cylinders protrude about one inch out of the mask and are curiously decadent. Dual straps with brass buckles finish off the design, with a slightly padded nose bridge inside of the mask for added comfort.

Rating It was indeed worth all the money that it costs, looks amazing and is easy to wear, if you can get the straps on right that is. Though it is quite different than the pictures above since the leather is darker but it's understandable with the economy how it is and the parts available to make such a thing. Anything steam punk is usually a must have for me and this did not disappoint. (Posted on 7/25/11)

Rating First time I have ever bought an item online that wasn't through ebay, and I was not disappointed. The mask showed up within a week, in secure packaging, and it is absolutely brilliant. Like others have said the upper part of the mask that rests on the nose is a little uncomfortable at first, but after a few wears I've managed to get it the way I like it. Rating 'I just got my mask in the mail today and as soon as I got it out of the box, I loved it! Tis quite comfortable to wear and I know I won't have a problem adding it to any outfit! The mesh in the picture is different than the real thing, but hey, that's not a bad thing. It still looks great! *****Admin edit******** Just wanted to point out as with DIY type items, sometimes parts change slightly due to availability, like in the current batch of mesh on the mask.' Rating The filters at the bottom were a little different than the ones pictured (not as transparent) but still looks great and is comfortable to wear. The straps also button on/off which is really convenient. (Posted on 4/21/10)

Rating Fast shipping, got it out of the box and just loved it. It looks better than the picture. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because as mentioned in a previous review the nose is a little uncomfortable, I think with a little breaking in the leather will soften up.
